Steins Gate – The Plausibility of Time Travel

What kind of mad scientist worries about not getting enough vegetables?

Hello guys! Welcome back everybody it’s your boy AR Senpai here to hit you up with some mind bending physics. Is time travel really possible? We’ll use Steins Gate as a reference point to see how scientifically accurate the anime is and whether microwaving a banana is a good idea or not lol.

Let’s start of with some character introductions shall we? We’ve got mad scientist Okabe Rintarou, the sweet childhood friend Mayuri and the actual genius who really knows her shit Kurisu. Oh and we can’t forget our expert engineer………. what was his name again? lol

Steins Gate is a word that was created by Okabe. This was the perfect future he had envisioned and prayed for. The origin of the world comes from Germany – where Stein means stone. So rock gate or door way? Someone please help me, I’m pulling so much shit from my ass here lol.

After the Okabe discovers the ability to send texts back into the past and skipping through alternate realities, he begins to piece together a successful time travel method through microwaving multiple bananas lol. However he comes across a tough decision between the reality of saving his lover Kurisu or his best friend Mayuri.

In a sense we’re are time travellers who are moving into the future at a constant rate in time. Lets say we can travel in time 1 minute per 1 minute. The question here is whether or not it’s possible to travel back or forwards in time at a quicker pace; such as travel forward 10 years in 1 minute?

Forming our argument of time travel based of Albert Einstein’s special relativity, it states that time and space are linked. The universal speed limit is 300,000 km per second for basically anything that wishes to travel through time. And according to this theory, time apparently moves slower for you relative to the stationary objects you’ve passed. But just because your moving quickly and time seems slower for you, does that really mean you’ll age any slower?

If you could fly at the speed for light into space and kept going for 5 years until you returned to earth you would notice your friends would be around 65 years old. But could it also mean that you would biologically be 65 years old too however the 5 years you perceived to have pass by was actually 65 years in real time? Essentially you reached 65 years at a rate that SEEMED faster to you?

What I believe to be happening in Steins gate is that Okabe is actually jumping through alternate SPACE as oppose to the same space that light travels through in the paragraph above. Imagine if there where infinite number of world lines (or realities) that occurs at exactly the same time. On world line 1 the events at 9am are happening normally. But on world line 2, events at 8:30am may overlap and occur at the same time as 9am on world line 1. Essentially Okabe jumps from world line 1 at 9am into world line 2 where it’s 8:30am and he would have perceived it as “time travel”. Keep in mind that there are an infinite number of spaces therefore an infinite number of overlaps can occur. Events from your you blinking right now could coincide world war 2 on a different timeline assuming things that occurred in timeline 2 were the same as your world line.

This might explain why Okabe himself didn’t have drastic changes in age or appearance as he skipped through world lines. Regardless, he was still getting older and didn’t matter if it was going into the past world line or future world line. Because he’s slipping through world lines, the time constant is normal which is 1min=1min. However if he was on the same world line, and did jump through time like the speed on light, 5 years could equal to 65 years.

As for the practical sides of how to time travel works, the Future Gadget 204 or FG204 time machine seems cool. The explanation behind how it actually works was lacking though. As for the plausibility of time travel, I believe it’s a controversial topic that can become true it the future. Just because we can’t prove the existence of time travel now, we shouldn’t disregard the potentials of technological advancements.

Kurisu Waifu is the best ❤

Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai

MY THOUGHTS ARE A HUNDRED TIMES MORE LEWD THAN WHAT YOU’RE IMAGINING.

Welcome to Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, the anime of every guy’s dream. Harems are great and all but who doesn’t love seeing a hot actress in a bunny suit. Not to mention that the actress is your girlfriend. Sakuta and Mai explore the mysteries of the peculiar phenomenon, which was highly unforeseen in this cute kawaii anime. Nevertheless, the interesting storyline captures the heart of many audiences leaving many biting their pillows.

We start off with your usual highschool storyline, otaku guy Sakuta. Not the smartest in the class but his looks and pervertedness are nonetheless exceptional. We was wandering in the library, while all of a sudden encounters a strange situation. The highschool hottie, Mai Sakurajima Senpai was wearing a skin tight bunny suit. That should be enough to make anyone have a wet dream lol.

Mai Sakurajima senpai suffers from a strange phenomenon called Adolescence syndrome. This causes her to become invisible to the majority of the population in Tokyo during certain periods of time. Testing the waters, Mai would wear a bunny suit (not often enough) to see if anyone would notice her. Me and my man Sakuta sure did lol.  The story unfolds as the couple meet with other teenagers who also suffer from adolescence syndrome. From what could of been a great love story turns into an inception blockbuster Steins Gate, confusing as hell anime.

However the romance that blossoms through overcoming each difficulties proves that the relationship between the two love birds to be very realistic. As for visuals and music, the two go together like apple pie and ice cream. A nice refreshing combination. To be honest I don’t even know to summarize this anime because I don’t really get it myself. Plus I haven’t written a review in agesssss so I’m a little rusty around the edges lol. However, I’m sure this anime will leave a nice big smile on your face.

However, one this is for sure that the originality and quirkiness of each character definitely capture the heart of the audience. Will there be a season 2? I hope so because I can’t wait to see their romance blossom into something even more fun and spontaneous 🙂

Heres a picture of Shoko Waifu. Definitely jail bait lol
